Im 18 dating a 30 year old
Of course according to the law it's ok, but I would try to stop my daughter (or my son) at any cost from getting into that sort of relationship. I'm now 22 and have been with my 34 year old partner for 3 years in May.
You do realise that as their daughter you're unlikely to actually find out what's going on behind the scence, or even under your nose if you're used to it and think it's normal. We have our own place too and even moved to another country (7000 miles away) together.
Regrets are pointless, but if for some reason I was put into a time machine and found myself 18 years old again this is what I'd be glad to know.
She isn't your soulmate, she isn't “the one”, it isn't true love. Assuming you are a westerner, especially an American, . As a young man you can be free to date around and play the field.

They have their own place, get on great, and they've been together about 2 years.
She can be replaced and it's not true love that you feel for her it is infatuation. You don't need a psychology textbook to learn that, just a little Bold and Determined 101. The cold, hard reality is that you aren't guaranteed a job or a career and your college degree is going to be the most expensive piece of paper you ever purchase. You can kick off the shackles and go about your life as you wish. But the plan that is likely laid out for you is a plan destined to fail, so you've got to make the right choices to get a jumpstart on a life of health, wealth and happiness.Priority numero uno should be making money and building a life for yourself. There are 3 billion women in the world and they are all basically the same. My freshman year of college I had a female English teacher who had the build of a linebacker and, rather than teaching us English, taught us feminism.
If it were something like 18 and mid-30's or something, then yeah, as that could potentially be double the persons age/have children the same age as the partner etc. We have our own place too and even moved to another country (7000 miles away) together.
